Story-telling and Book Shower at Brgy. Taliptip Elementary School
The Office of External Affairs in cooperation with DYCI Library and Quezon City Public library conducted a story-telling activity to Grade-2 pupils of Brgy. Taliptip last December 13, 2012.
In the Multimedia room, Ms. Ana Ejurango told the story, "Ang Kamatis ni Peles: pitong araw na Paggawa while Ms. Charo Galang delivered the story, "Paglaki Ko. The pupils listened attentively and answered all the twenty-four questions which showed they understood the stories told.
Book shower and distribution of snacks by Ms. Czarina and Ana, Library Trainees from BulSU followed . The session ended with program evaluation and distribution of certificates of participation.
The activity, documented by Mr. Mark Anthony Bulaon, is in conjunction with the 78th Celebration of National Week Book with the theme, Libraries Effects to Society.

They also showered the Brgy. Taliptip Elementary School Library with books which the pupils could read. The acivity is in conjunction with the 77th Celebrartion of National Week Book with the theme Libraries for Progress.
In the story, Ms. Galang acted as the narrator; Ms. Garcia, the Hare; Ms Ejurango, the Tortoise; and Mr. Marcelino as Kuma, the son of the Spider. The pupils listened attentively and answered all the twenty questions which showed their understanding of the story told.
Book shower and distribution of snacks followed while some selected pupils were entertaining the audience with a dance number. The program ended with program evaluation and distribution of certificates of participation.
